Apricot Picking

A great Sunday morning outing, Jean, Betsy and I met at Yolanda's house to pick all sorts of delicious fresh apricots. Some were so ripe that they just dropped off the trees !!
Of course we couldn't resist eating a few while we filled up our bags and boxes :)

Tonight we got to see what Ermie the cat wore to her last birthday (13th) party.

What was even more priceless was how Bebo liked to cuddle with her :)

Childhood memories

Growing up in Michigan,
strawberry picking with my family was a very happy memory.

This time I got to go with Heidi and Luke
to the Strawberry Fields in Carlsbad, CA.
Check out some pictures I took in between
mouthfuls of yummy fresh picked berries :)

( The rest of the afternoon was spent checking out the
outlet stores that were just next door to the strawberry fields ;) )

A "Holy Grounds" event

A nice "Oldies praise concert to end the evening off.

Loads of people showed up ... and the guys played hacky sack ;) :P
It got a little chilly and Zulita and I had to bundle up :)

A momentus event

We were blessed to witness and take part
in Thomas' baptism in the Pacific today.
Congrats on such an important decision, man ! :)

Wii would like to play :)

Do you Wii ? ... WE do now ! :) tonight was our first ever experience with the Wii at the Decena's. They received an awesome gift from Amy and Josh -- a Wii kit (ACE bandage, Icy Hot, band-aids and head- & wristbands for those stressful and extra sweaty moments ;) )

Old Spaghetti Factory

A first time for us, the Old Spaghetti Factory was a great treat for us since we love pasta so much :) Little Luke slept through most of the lunch, but we made sure he had enough when we woke up :)
